  • First priority was to build up a decimated marketing department from three people to eight, including interviewing, hiring, training and building a team
  • Need to catch up on the projects left by the decimation and get them finished
  • Learn and understand the industry to develop content, materials and targeted marketing solutions for the 30 companies in the MRM family
  • Managed the day-to-day business details of an in-house advertising agency, from budget and accounting to personnel issues and reviews to production, traffic and inventory control as well as trade shows and seminars
  • Account (client) management and supervision -- determining needs, assisting with budgetary realities, identifying critical issues, developing a solution, then creative supervision through production and delivery or fulfillment
  • Business analyst liaison with the technology division
  • "Local" troubleshooter for computer, software or web difficulties
